SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting death on May 20. SF Police Homicide investigators apprehended Rodney Williams, 27, of San Francisco on May 21 for fatally shooting a man on the unit block of Turner Terrace.

According to a press release from the SFPD website, officers responded to Shot Spotter activation at approximately 9:00 p.m. on May 20, upon arrival the discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshots to the head and upper body.  He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Williams was booked into San Francisco County Jail on a homicide charge and probation violation out of San Mateo County. Police are still investigating the case.
