SAN FRANCISCO—A 20-yard tile swastika laid out on the school’s turf football field. The giant image was discovered on June 1 by custodians and deconstructed immediately.
According to the school, the tiles were able to snap together; thus making it easy to remove with no permanent damage to the field.
South San Francisco residents are upset at the behavior of the vandals, according to social media responses. Robin Belinsky, a local resident, was able to capture a picture of the swastika as she drove past the school on Monday.
The individuals responsible for this hateful symbol at El Camino High School still remain at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
