HOLLYWOOD—Its awards season, but there is indeed one award ceremony no one in the entertainment industry wants to be nominated for. Any guesses? It’s the Razzie Awards. The nominees for the 38th Annual Razzie Awards were unveiled on Monday, January 22, one day before the nominees for the 90th Annual Academy Awards are unveiled.
In previous years one flick dominated the Razzie Awards, but for 2018 a trio of flicks leads all contenders. Those film include “Transformers: The Last Knight,” “Fifty Shades Darker” and “The Mummy.” Also getting in on the action was the animated flick “The Emoji Film.” All four flicks will duke it out in the Worst Picture category.
