True Blood

HOLLYWOOD—The battle between vampires and humans looks like the humans have the upper hand or do they?  In episode three titled “You’re No Good,” Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) implemented his latest plan to take down the Governor of Louisiana, by manipulating his daughter. Bill (Stephen Moyer) unveiled to Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) the fate of the vampire race and his mission to stop the eradication of all vampires.

Sookie (Anna Paquin) continued to practice harnessing her energy as she prepared for her impending battle with the ultimate vampire Warlow, just as the Stackhouse clan began to strike.  Sookie confessed to grandpa Niall (Rutger Hauer) that she’s not afraid of anything; he warned her that she should be afraid of this big baddie. Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) were not pleased to see the Governor’s daughter inside Fangtasia; they were ready to end her life, but Eric had other plans.  She informed him that experiments have been taking place involving vampires being placed into a camp.

Sam (Sam Trammell) was not pleased to see Nicole (Jurnee Smollett) inside his home after they rescued him and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) from Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and his wolf-pack.  Bill thinking that he is godlike chose to walk into the sunlight, but learned the hard-way that he is not invincible!  I guess his Lilith like powers are indeed limited.  Niall visited the faerie nightclub where he discovered that Warlow had penetrated inside the club and attacked the faeries, leaving a trail of blood and mayhem.

Jason (Ryan Kwanten) not looking too hot to Sookie decided that something was off with her brother and thought it was best for him to seek medical attention. Alcide did his best to deter the authorities from visiting Martha and the disappearance of her granddaughter Emma. Wonder if Alcide is aware that his new lady friend is a devil in disguise.

Sookie’s new boy toy, Ben, came face-to-face with her grandpa; who alerted him that the faerie place he had been looking for has been destroyed. Jessica enrolled in college as Bill sent her out on her new mission. It is indeed an interesting twist in the serious.  Surprise, surprise, Steve Newlin came face-to-face with his ex-wife; looks like the newly turned vampire is in a bad situation.  Sarah informed her hubby that he’s inside the place that is going to eradicate the entire vampire race.  Sookie was a bit guarded when her beau Bill stopped by her place informing her that her friends are in danger.

She was quite stunned Bill was able to enter her home without her permission as he begged for her blood.  He informed her that he is not God.  His powers are quite relenting to say the least. “You’re dead to me now Sookie Stackhouse,” said Bill. Those were indeed such harsh words for a man who would have done anything in the past to protect Sookie.

Nicole and her clan did her best to attempt to get Alcide and his wolf-pack to transform as they began their onslaught on her friends.  It gave Sam just enough time to rescue Emma and to assist Nicole in her escape. The Governor made threats against Eric as he did his best to track a signal on the vampire, just as Tara decided to take off with the captor. Ben did his best to connect with Sookie as he helped her clean up the mess left behind by Bill.

The final moments of the episode saw Jason lose consciousness, as it appeared Nora (Lucy Griffiths) knows a bit more about Warlow than she has informed everyone else about.  Could she possibly be linked to the old aged vampire?  I have a feeling that she is.  Things are starting to heat up on “True Blood” until next Sunday TB lovers!
