BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Christie”, and I’m a little Chihuahua about a year old.  I was abandoned, but lucky for me I was found by a very caring woman, who, unfortunately, couldn’t keep me, as she had other four-legged ones to care for.  So, again, I was lucky that she brought me in to the Friends of Animals Foundation where I am being well cared for and loved until a forever home is found for me.

I must admit that I was pretty scared and skittish at first, as I didn’t know what to expect, but there are so many soft laps to sit on and people to cuddle with, that I relaxed in no time, and now I’m known as a little angel! How about that?

I would be content to sit on your lap all day long, but don’t get me wrong, I do like to go for my walks, too, as I need exercise as much as you do. I get along great with other dogs, and I’m sure that I could be a kitty’s best friend, too, as being only about four pounds, I’d probably be about the same size as most of them.

I really think that I’d get along best in a home with older children, or with a couple, or even just a single person that could spend a lot of time with me and that would have a nice lap for me to cuddle on!

However, if you’re looking for a bigger or older dog, or, perhaps a kitty cat, you can check the website which is:foafla.petfinder.com to see all of my friends that are here. But, I hope that you’ll remember that there’s a saying that goes something like, “the best things come in small packages”, and, so, I hope that you will call to see me!
