SAN FRANCISCO—A man has been arrested in connection to an October attack against an elderly woman on the 200 block of Minerva Street. Xavier Gonzalez, 30, was detained as a suspect before being booked at the San Francisco County Jail.

On October 14 around 3:50 a.m., the San Francisco Police Department responded to an assault where they discovered an 86-year-old female victim with visible injuries on her face. The victim was robbed of her shoes, watch and jewelry. 

According to a press release from the SFPD, the victim is still hospitalized in serious condition. 

Gonzalez is being charged with multiple felonies including: robbery, aggravated assault, elder abuse, threats, possession of stolen property, and inflicting great bodily injury on the victim.
