SAN FRANCISCO—On May 2, the San Francisco Police Department announced they are offering a $100,000 reward for any information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) connected to the 1991 murder of Karl Holmberg.

The SFPD reported on August 3, 1991, at approximately 9:40 p.m., 30-year-old Holmberg was attacked by a group of male suspects in the region of Hayes and Laguna Streets. During the altercation, Holmberg was stabbed by one of the suspects. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from injuries sustained.

The investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail. The SFPD authorized a reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) in this case.
