SAN FRANCISCO—Two were injured in separate shootings taking place in the Bayview District on Christmas Day.

The first, taking place at 1:44 a.m. near Beatrice Lane and Lillian Court, involved an 18-year-old victim who was shot when trying to fight-off a suspect who pulled a gun on him.

The suspect fled the scene. The victim drove himself to San Francisco General Hospital with a non-lethal gunshot wound to the finger.

The second shooting occurred at 3:22 a.m. near 3rd Street and McKinnon Avenue, where a suspect in his 30s shot the 38-year-old victim, who was also transported to San Francisco General Hospital. The gunshot wound to the victim’s abdomen is reportedly non-lethal.

Both shooting suspects are still at large.
