HOLLYWOOD—To say I have a bunch of new theories after watching the latest episode of “From” would be a major understatement. This week’s episode, ‘The Calm Before’ is the penultimate episode before next week’s seasons 4 finale. Things kicked off with Tabitha immediately alerting Boyd that the Man in Yellow was inside her home, stole Ethan’s pictures and lured her to the RV, almost giving her a warning.

Jade declared that he planned to go into the tunnels to locate the children’s bones to end this misery, while the MIY returned to ‘Sophia’ to hoodwink the townspeople. Here is a very important question: how is no one aware of what the hell Sophia is doing and how strange she acts? It is so obvious everyone should realize what is unfolding.

She is always fishing for information, and this time she utilized Clara to do her dirty deeds, as she revealed herself. So Clara has known about the MIY all along and made a bargain to keep herself safe. Oh, this is a major reveal and twist, which explains how he is aware of things.

Kristie and Marielle continued to worry about what is unfolding with Fatima, just as Sophia took Clara to Sara’s abode as threats were issued. The MIY noted going in the tunnels is important, but rituals must be followed. Hmm, that means if their is a deviation of things it can be the difference between survival and chaos. The MIY wanted to transfer his blood into Clara’s, why, we shall soon know.

Boyd, Kenny and Jade explained the plan with the caves to Donna who had many trepidations and good ones. How removing the ‘Bottle Tree’ might allow the creatures to roam during the day and unleash other forms of hell. Henry continued to dream of a life different than the one he’s currently living. Then it hit me, Henry’s alternate reality is something the MIY wants him to think. He didn’t start having these hallucinations until the MIY put his blood in his drink; he’s toying with Henry!

Boyd flipped out learning that Fatima is exhibiting symptoms of someone already being dead, just as Tabitha explained to Julie and Ethan that the MIY was in their home. This caused Julie to flip out and pinpoint an important clue: the town messes with your brain. Julie finally revealed that she saw the MIY, just as questions about where the talisman came from rose to the forefront; That is indeed a very important clue. Where did these things come from and who made them?

Clara placed her blood into a thermostat and ushered Fatima to drink it because its a ‘remedy’ to make her better. Victor spoke to Miranda about Henry’s behavior, and had a visit from the Boy in White, who warned him that the others are going to pull down the ‘Bottle Tree’ and he warned Victor that tree ‘CAN’T’ be pulled? Is this true or an something the town is doing to prevent another clue being released to them.

Boyd had a chat with the Higher Power in the church, but was interrupted by Sara, who learned that things are bad with Fatima. This prompted Boyd to ask the right questions, what did the voices hint pertaining to Fatima that Sara heard? While looking at the talisman, Tabitha realized something after speaking to Ethan. Damn this town is really a trip, even Ethan is questioning what is going on by making them FEAR things, so they don’t focus on the things that can help them.

Victor flipped when he alerted Jade, Kenny and Boyd that they can’t pull down the ‘Bottle Tree.’ Victor was an emotional mess as a result, which resulted in Boyd having to cuff him and detain him at the police station, but Tabitha had a conversation with Boyd about who goes into the tunnels. She explained ONLY she and Jade can go into the tunnels to locate those bones. She explained the talisman has specific clues they have to follow. Tabitha echoed what the MIY said to Clara at the start of the episode. Oh, we are getting close people.

Major clue that should have opened everyone’s eyes was seeing Sophia get the jukebox to play as she deliberately slit the makeshift ladder with a knife. In the middle of the night, Fatima was experiencing excruciating pain, and her hair was falling out. Is she becoming one of the monsters from the town? I’m starting to think that.

The quest to remove the ‘Bottle Tree’ is underway and Jade and Tabitha ventured into the caves to locate the bones of the children. In this week’s notes of dumbest thing ever, Elgin discovered in a photograph that ‘Sophia’ had already been to the town in the past. So what does Elgin do?

He goes and confronts Sophia aka the MIY of all people, which s all, but confirming that Elgin is dead, and we discovered the MIY can only morph into someone once they’ve died in the town. Clara is like an idiot and I don’t understand her; I’m hoping she meets her maker for the hell of it.

The MIY was petrified to discover that Tabitha and Jade were the only ones venturing into the tunnels. Yeah, that is a major clue because she assumed others were. Jade and Tabitha made it to the main point of the tunnels and placed a talisman as safety as they started to dig and located the bones of the children in the chamber, just as the creatures came near the entrance.

I am so scared for next week’s finale episode. For starters, we’re about to uncover some major Intel as we enter the fifth and final season of the series of “From.” What is going to happen to Jade and Tabitha, what is up with Fatima, is the Bottle Tree being removed a good or bad thing, what is the Boy in White’s true purpose and are deaths about to unleash we didn’t expect? Gosh the 90-minute finale episode next week, can’t come soon enough.
