HOLLYWOOD—Wow, what a week in the “Big Brother 28” house. This season is off to chaotic start, but for fans it is everything you want and more. I must say this, those 90-minute episodes that we’re having every Wednesday can actually go. They do not serve much of a purpose if anything at all. The most recent one dragged like crazy, and I couldn’t wait for it to end.
Now, I told you last week it could have been Ashley, Taylor or Yash who was evicted, but things shifted Tuesday night, only to completely blow up by Wednesday. How so? Ashley, at the bequest of her new ‘alliance’ started to spill to the other side of the house, specifically Lyric and Melody that she had the votes to stay. Not just that she had the votes to stay, she started to name off the people in that alliance. Lyric and Melody that should have clicked for you who you can trust and who you cannot trust!
Ashley for you to be a “Big Brother” fan that has to be the biggest blunder ever. Melody was the only person truly clocking it, but didn’t fully connect the dots like I needed her to. However, she went to work realizing she had to flip things back to ensure Ashley was sent packing and a number from her side didn’t go home. As a result of that information Melody started to go to work, which ultimately led to Ashley being evicted from the game in a unanimous 14-0 vote. Can’t remember the last time such a thing happened.
So, the question for week 2 is who will be the new Head of Household? Would the other side claim power or would the vets (sorry I’m not calling them icons because they haven’t reached that status for me). I hate this duo/team HOH competitions. The first HOH, yes, after that absolutely not. My fate should not be tied to the hands of someone that could easily sabotage me. This competition for starters should not have been done in pairs. You have all houseguests slide the stupid disk and whoever has the highest score wins.
First Devens has no partner, so he advances to the third round. Hmm, in BB26, the player who didn’t have a partner was immediately eliminated, so why change the rules now? It was just stupid and it came down to Devens and Haley, thank God Haley didn’t win, however, did I want to see Devens and the vets in power again? No, but I think the downfall is imminent. Why? Ego.
Dee, Devens and Angela solo are great, as a group they’re giving toxic energy. Then you add the dumbasses of Kamu, Haley and Chuk and its worse. Kamu says some mess on the feeds that is just disgusting, and Chuk, let me say you are never invited to ‘The Cookout.’ To those who know you know. Haley, that girl is just miserable. People in the house are placating you, but I think the only 2 people who like you are Chuk and Kamu, and that is not going to save you if you hit that block and stay up there on eviction night. Your ass is out.
Barrett is the reason I hate the term super fan. This guy reeks of BB13’s Adam, who was obsessed with Jeff and Jordan. Barrett is so far up the vets’ asses they don’t even have to wipe. To the producers, you seriously thought this guy was entertaining? He is literally the biggest dud and most of the house have already clocked him. Drew is the rat, who wants to play an Andy Herren-esque game, but Andy did it so much better and kept some things to the vest for his own personal game. You spill EVERYTHING to the vets, which is not helping you with Angela who is ready to blindside you if she wins HOH. Dee is not trusting you either and now even Devens is questioning you. Why? They see you always socializing with the other side, so your allegiance is in question. Good gameplay despite their suspicions.
I would totally become a Drew stan if he swapped sides after a potential betrayal this week from his so-called ‘allies.’ Devens was planning to make a big move, but big move is not always the smartest move. Its apparent this guy ONLY watched a few episodes of “Big Brother” and didn’t actually study. If you have a showmance in the house, you always break up the showmance. We are going to talk about a bonehead move by the vets and how you should never underestimate a player.
The Toolshed, yes that is the stupid name Drew came up with for his alliance, consisting of Barrett, Drew, Kamu, Haley, Chuk, Dee, Angela and Devens decided to ALL go into the HOH room in the middle of the night. Rome, Lyric and Jason watched them walk out the room as Rome attempted to see what was going on but was ignored. It gave Gr8teful from BB21, and I don’t think the viewers are going to like that.
Haley per usual had a snarky comment, I wish we had Felicia Cannon in this house from BB25. She would have ended Haley with the ease. That woman is just unlikeable, I turn the feeds away from her every time she is on, just like Chuk. So Devens nominates Lyric, Jason and Melody for eviction and it was a ceremony because Angela was locked in the Egg-Costume from BB27 that Vince had to wear; she should have been given the unitard, now that would have been funny. Considering the edit, she was given no wonder she won the BB Time Capsule, that is not random; it feels like the producers control what happens.
The producers need to make it clear to the viewers what powers and punishments are in play. That just makes it more exciting for us to determine if we want to send someone in now or wait until a potential bigger power could be in the works like the care package from BB18. This randomness which seems like the producers will decide who gets what and when, and if it happens when there is going to be a shift in power I’m going to be livid.
Jason called out Devens, Angela had to be Angela and called Jason a ‘Messy B**ch.’ Hmm, didn’t love that Angela, you’re going to be looked sideways by the viewers for that. And it just got ugly. Jason started screaming, Rome and Haley got into it, Lala was crying incessantly; it was a massive mess. Rome was the target, which Devens wants to backdoor, but with the BB Blockbuster, you can’t backdoor people anymore, they have a chance to win.
That’s not the worst part, it was that Devens stupidity gene kicked in. You created a clear split/divide in the house declaring war and you want to save Lyric of the 3 nominees? Why is this vital? Devens won the POV, in a nail-biter as Jason finished his puzzle first, but hesitated to hit the buzzer, giving Devens a chance. So Devens is feeling himself, but here comes Lyric playing the game and she played already.
Rome and Lyric come up with a plan to make the house think they’ve split. Most shouldn’t believe it, but with vets like Devens, Dee and Angela, its proof not many smart people are in this house. Lyric is a flirt and she used that to her advantage with Chuk. Chuk, Lyric is NOT INTO YOU AT ALL! Kamu, Lyric is not into you either. She is charming the hell out of you guys, and ya’ll have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
She proposed Devens take her down with the POV and then put up Rome (he was planning to put up Rome), he just didn’t know who to save. The person should have been Melody as you guarantee an ally of Jason’s goes home. Devens was eating up what Lyric was selling him, calling her not smart, but your dumbass fell for it. She is a lawyer; you just don’t know it.
Dee and Angela also fell for it as they are becoming more and more weary of Drew, this is dangerous as this guy knows where all the bodies are buried. Also, Dee played with fire letting Lyric know it was Drew who told her Mallory doesn’t like her. Dee if that gets back to Drew that could blow your alliance to pieces. I could not believe what I was watching, but if there is a chance that Jason, Rome and Lyric could all stay I’m for it.
Look, I like Melody, but she is so disloyal; she jumps ship and the breeze of the wind, and she trusts Drew too much. Melody if Drew didn’t push to get the POV used on you, he is not the ally you think he is. Not to mention Devens, Dee and Angela, WTFAYD! Drew is beyond loyal too you guys and you all are simply trying to find a way to push him out and have him retaliate for screwing him over if you vote out Melody, which Dee prompted right after Rome hit the block.
Meanwhile, you have Barrett’s lazy ass doing nothing, but you trust him implicitly. You might say why am I not chatting about Taylor and Lala? Well, they are not doing much. They are sitting back and staying quiet and waiting for the others to just eat themselves alive. However, if there is anyone on the other side clocking things its Taylor. She knows the vets are a problem, she knows Barrett cannot be trusted, she seeing what is going on and I think just waiting to get power before she strikes.
Lala is apparently annoying Haley (I could care less, continue to do it), and Devens is showing me I’m not a fan of his. “Survivor” is an edited series, whereas “Big Brother” shows you who people are 24/7. That guy is a bit of tool and I’m losing my respect for him more and more as I watch him. Lala is targeting Haley and Haley is targeting Lala, one thing is certain if Haley is on the block against anyone in her alliance, she has no prayer of survival.
This blunder by Devens using that veto on Lyric is going to bite him. I want Rome to win the BB Blockbuster and in a close vote, Jason to survive and unfortunately for Melody to be evicted. It would be an epic blindside, not to mention Drew would see the light and utter chaos could explode.
On top of that, we just need the other side to get power and light fire on Barrett, Angela, Devens, Dee, Kamu, Haley and Chuk. I’m leaving Drew out of it because he is a player; he’s gaming, but he’s making blunders and he might need to be blindsided to truly wake up. I mean Drew against the people he’s shown blind loyalty too? Sign me up “BB 28!”
