SAN FRANCISCO—The sixth Annual Orinda Restaurant Tour is set to begin on September 24 and will give San Francisco Bay area food lovers the opportunity to join a culinary tour and sample their way through Orinda restaurants.

“This is a great opportunity to support our community while getting to know all the latest offerings byOrinda’s fine restaurants,” said Sylvia Jorgensen, president of the Orinda Chamber of Commerce. Jorgensen added that this is the city’s “best couples’ night on the town.”

The tour will begin with registration from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Theatre Square. The tour will go from 6 to 8 p.m. with dessert from 8 to 8:30 p.m. There will be a cable car trolley with live on-board entertainment to take guests across town.

Event attendees will receive a small portion of food best representing each restaurant participating in the tour at no additional cost as well as a glass of wine at Library Square, which is included in the ticket price.

The Restaurant Tour is just one part of “Celebrate September in Orinda,” which is a series of events including “Dancing with the Cars” on September 20, “Orinda Classic Car Show” on September 21 and “Speed on the Screen” Movie Night on September 21.

Advanced tickets cost $40 per person and may be reserved using a major credit card at the Orinda Chamber of Commerce website. Attendees are encouraged to make reservations since space will be limited to 250 ticket holders. Tickets on the day of the event will be $45, if they are still available.
