HOLLYWOOD—Celebrities may not be just like us, however some of their spouses are. Their marriages are often the talk of Hollywood. From the outlandish dresses, rings and wedding receptions, Hollywood weddings and marriages always seem to captivate everyone. However, some celebs choose to not compete for fame in their household and instead turn to high school sweethearts and everyday non-celebs for matrimony. Some of them don’t mix work with pleasure.

Here are some of the stars that married Average-Joes with, regular jobs, like bartenders, lawyers, etc. Ja Rule and Aisha Atkins were high school sweethearts, just like Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley. Actor Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink met when Jillian was a stylist and Patrick booked an appointment with her.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, he was her hero of the night when Jim saved Reese from a drunken man hitting on her at a party. Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso met while filming in Miami. Matt met Luciana when she was a bartender. Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond met in Chicago when he was a composer and she was trying to make it big with the Second City improv group. Actor Robert DeNiro and Grace Hightower ran into each other in a London night club and went on their first date after Robert had a chef pass Grace a note asking her out.

Rose’s Scoop: Bob Dylan’s original manuscipt of “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall,” is expected to fetch between $235,000 and $314,000 at a September 29 sale in London at Sotheby’s.  Last year, the final handwritten lyrics to the song sold for $485,000 at Sotheby’s in New York. At the same sale, a draft of his “Like a Rolling Stone,” sold for a whopping $2 million.
