SAN FRANCISCO—A man was shot and killed outside The Burma Love in the San Francisco Mission District region on Thursday, December 29.

The victim, a 38-year-old male was shot on the 200 block of Valencia Street around 6:30 p.m. The victim died soon after police arrived on the scene. Officers stayed on the scene for several hours investigating the crime, which was closed off to the public.

Employees of Burma Love said it wasn’t until some restaurant customers alerted them that they realized an altercation was taking place outside.

Authorities have no suspects in custody, but indicated they are searching for a 35-year-old man they believe to be connected to the murder. The name of the suspect has not yet been disclosed to the public.
