BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Charlie", and I was just sitting here thinking that it's probably time to refresh your memory about me, as I've been here a long time waiting for a new home.  It worked for my friends, "Pepsi" and "Sprite", who refreshed your memory a few weeks ago, and now they're off to a new loving home!  No one, including me, can figure out why I've been overlooked, so maybe this will be the charm!
I was a shy little guy when I was brought in here, but I came out of my shell in no time at all, and was soon given the nickname of "Mr. Personality"!  All of the volunteers want to take me for a walk, so I don't want to say that I'm the favorite - I'll just say that I'm one of the favorites, which, I have to admit, includes everyone here.

I get along with everyone - men, women, children, dogs, cats - you name it and I'll probably get along with them.  In case you can't tell, I'm a Poodle mix, and that means that I'm very smart, if I must say so myself!  I'm only a couple of years old, and weigh, probably, about twelve pounds, which means that I'm a perfect lap dog!  So, if you would like a snuggler for your lap, I would love to be the one.
I guess that you can tell by now, that I would love to have a family and home to call my own.  So, hopefully, this refresher course will do the trick. Why don't you call to see me, take me for a walk, and sit and cuddle for a while, that way we can get to know each other.  Then, I hope that what you learn about me will make you say, "you're the one"!  Won't someone give me a chance, please?
