SAN FRANCISCO—A four story apartment caught fire in downtown San Francisco on Saturday, April 18.

The fire started on a wooden staircase in the building just before 9 a.m. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 45 minutes of their arrival.

No injuries were reported, but eight tenants proceeded to request help from the Red Cross for further housing and amenities assistance.
