SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department revealed that domestic violence and homicide suspect Robert Riley aka Chui Chekele Riley, 43, was spotted in San Joaquin County on June 20. According to the SFPD website, on June 7, officers responded to the 4500 block of Mission Street about a shooting. Upon arrival they learned that Riley shot and killed his wife, before fleeing the area. He was last seen fleeing the scene in a White Chrysler 300 (CA Plate 7UAB831).  Riley is considered armed and dangerous.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office (SJCSO) received information from the community that a suspect wanted in the murder of his wife in San Francisco was residing in French Camp, CA. SJCSO deputies narrowed the search to a home on the 10000 block of South Janet Road. SJCSO deputies located the subject, who was confirmed as Robert Riley. He died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“The San Francisco Police Department extends its gratitude to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this homicide investigation, as well as the public for staying vigilant and notifying the proper authorities of a murder suspect at large,” states the SFPD in a press release.
