SAN FRANCISCO—On Saturday, April 5, the San Francisco Fire Department announced that they battled a blaze at 1664 Larkin Street that threatened structures next to the building. The fire traveled up three floors and pushed next to the building on the back side.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze by 7:46 p.m. One individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. One dog and one cat were rescued from the building on fire and returned to their owners. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the San Francisco Fire Department.
