San Francisco—Surprise!! I bet that you expected to see a doggie here, didn't you? Well, the two of us decided it was time for a change. So, we took matters into our own hands - or should we say paws - and took over this corner. Do we see some big smiles on some faces out there?
SAN FRANCISCO—My name is "Hazel", and I thought that I'd show off my whole body, instead of just a head shot, so that you could see how I look head to toe!
SAN FRANCISCO
—My name is "Troy", and that puzzled look on my face is because I'm wondering why I still haven't been adopted. I seem to be passed over for others, and I don't know why.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Rex”, and I’m known for my eye-catching copper colored coat. I’m about six years old, however, I’m more like a puppy, as I’m a very active boy! I'm what you might call athletic.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Simba”, and in case you don’t know, “Simba” comes from the Swahili word for ‘lion’. But, don’t let that scare you away! You won’t have to tame me, and I don’t roar. I’m just a little ten pound Chihuahua mix, that very seldom even barks!
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Mantou”, and you’ve been seeing a lot of little cuddly ones lately, so I thought that you'd like to see a big cuddly one for a change. Yes, I’m cuddly! If you’d let me, I'd love to sleep in bed with you, as that's where I have been used to sleeping.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Rubi”, and I’ve heard people around here ask, “who’s that cute little Terrier with the wild hair?”. Well, I had no idea that they were talking about me, as I’ve never seen myself. I really had no idea that I had wild hair, and that I was cute. So, I’ll leave that up to you.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Lisi” and I’m a little Chihuahua mix. No, I wasn’t abandoned - not abandoned in the true sense of the word, that is - but I was given up because of, “had to move and couldn't find a place.…” I’m sure that you know the rest of the sentence by now.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is Vicki, and I'm the new girl on the block! I'm another little Miniature Pinscher - and it seems as though there have been a lot of us Min Pins abandoned lately. I don't know why, because we have great personalities, and, as you can see by my picture, we are pretty cute, too! Just look at my big eyes and big ears and great coloring!
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Charlie", and I was just sitting here thinking that it's probably time to refresh your memory about me, as I've been here a long time waiting for a new home.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Andy", and if I look a little sad and bewildered, I have good reason to be. You see, I came within just a few inches of being hit by a car. I had been abandoned, and was running all over the place, and didn't realize that the street was such a dangerous place to be.
BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Dora", and I was adopted from the Friends of Animals Foundation eight years ago. I guess you're wondering why I'm looking for a new home - right? Well, after all these years of being part of a family, I was given up because a baby is expected.
