the morning of Friday, March 5, tragedy struck the Bay. A 28-year-old
woman was found dead after disappearing from a Bay Area ferry. It is unclear if the death was accidental or suicide.
Within a two-day span, the SFPD served two search warrants at the same San Francisco location, which soon resulted to the revelation of an extensive residential and commercial city-wide burglary operation.
20-year-old Phillip Pitney, a San Francisco gang member, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for his crime in attempting to murder another city resident last April.
On Monday, February 22, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) released helpful safety tips for passengers who regularly ride Muni, as several robbery cases have been recently reported.
In an effort to cover a multimillion dollar setback, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department (RPD) plans to charge tourists and add more concession stands at Coit Tower. The proposal still needs approval from the Board of Supervisors.
