SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, November 5, two car accidents transpired near Chinatown. San Francisco. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed to San Francisco News that both accidents resulted in fatalities.  

At about 5:57 a.m., at the intersection of Broadway and Stockton Street, a collision between a car and a motorcycle occurred.  The San Francisco Police Department indicated that the victim succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle cooperated with officers and remained at the scene for questioning.   

Several hours later, another collision occurred only a block away. Officers from the SFPD  responded to a fatal accident at the intersection of Powell and Vallejo Streets at approximately 12:35 p.m.  A large commercial truck collided with a pedestrian, who was later declared deceased at the scene.  The truck driver stayed at the scene and officers conducted their investigation.

According to the SFPD, both scenes were closed off for several hours so that a thorough investigation could be conducted.  

The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed to the public, but it was confirmed all parties involved are adults.
