2013 NBA Draft

NEW YORK—On Thursday, June 27, the Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the NBA Draft projections with their No. 1 pick. The Cavaliers have had the first pick in two of the last three NBA Drafts and went with Anthony Bennett of UNLV.

The Orlando Magic took Victor Oladipo with the No. 2 pick. The Washington Wizards took Otto Porter with the No. 3 pick. The Charlotte Bobcats took Cody Zeller with the No. 4 pick. The Phoenix Suns took Alex Len with the No. 5 pick. The Pelicans took Nerlens Noel with the No. 6 pick. The Kings took Ben McLemore with the No. 7 pick. The Pistons took Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with the No. 8 pick. The Minnesota Timberwolves took Trey Burke with the No. 9 pick. C.J. McCollum was taken with the No. 10 pick by the Portland Trailblazers.

The 76ers took Michael Carter-Williams with the No. 11 pick. The Oklahoma City Thunder took Steven Adams with the No. 12 pick. The No. 13 pick Kelly Olynyk was taken by the Dallas Mavericks. The Utah Jazz took Shabazz Muhammad with the No. 14 pick and the Milwaukee Bucks took Giannis Antetokounmpo with the No. 15 pick.

The Boston Celtics took Lucas Nogueira with the No. 16 pick. The Hawks took Dennis Schroeder with the No. 17 pick and Shane Larkin with the No. 18 pick. The Cavaliers took Sergey Karasev with the No. 19 pick. The Chicago Bulls took Tony Snell with the No. 20 pick. The Jazz took Gorgui Dieng with the No. 21 pick. The Brooklyn Nets took Mason Plumlee with the No. 22 pick. The Pacers took Solomon Hill with the No. 23 pick. The Knicks took Tim Hardaway Jr. with the No. 24 pick.

The Clippers took Reggie Bullock with the No. 25 pick. The Timberwolves took Andre Roberson with the No. 26 pick. The Denver Nuggets took Rudy Gobert with the No. 27 pick. The Spurs took Livio Jean-Charles with the No. 28 pick. The Thunder took Archie Goodwin with the No. 29 pick and the Phoenix Suns took Nemanja Nedovic with the No. 30 pick.

This years NBA Draft was one of the most talent filled and exciting in a while. The top thirty picks are going to teams as players who are set to make an impact as soon as possible.
