SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a 2010 homicide. The victim 80 year-old Huan Chen was viciously beaten by a trio of male juveniles on his way home, according to a press release from the SFPD.

The incident occurred near Oakdale Avenue and 3rd Street at around 6:00 p.m. The victim died from his injuries two months later. Authorities are offering a $100,000 reward that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in attack that killed Mr. Chen. The award is being offered by the Mayor’s office.
