SAN FRANCISCO—The weekend storm that struck the San Francisco region has resulted in the death of three people. 

Deborah McKeown, 56, of San Ramon, was killed by a falling tree on the Canyon Lakes Golf Course in San Ramon. McKeown was knocked unconscious by the falling tree while on a walk on Saturday, January 7. She later died after being taken to the hospital.

On Sunday, January 8, two apparent storm-related car crashes resulted in the death of two people.

At around 8:30 a.m. Jarnail Singh, 57, of San Leandro was believed to be alone in his cab off Doolittle Drive near the Oakland International Airport. No other details regarding the incident have been released to the public.

A second crash occurred on northbound Interstate 880 at the Mission Boulevard exit in Fremont, according to California Highway Patrol. The area became flooded as heavy rain hit the area around 7:30 a.m., at the time of the crash. The name of the victim has yet to be disclosed to the public.
