UCLA Bruins

WESTWOOD—The UCLA Bruins team is embracing expectations for a new team. Opening season ranks the Bruins at No. 21.

In 2012, the Bruins posed a lot of questions for their season as they had a redshirt freshman quarterback with a NFL veteran as a coach in a complete new system. Now the Bruins have found themselves with Brett Hundley, returning as quarterback after an outstanding redshirt freshman campaign. Anthony Barr is returning as one of the most feared defensive players in the country.

UCLA kicks off the 2013 season this weekend withNevada. The players are aware they now carry a target on their backs. The Bruins still have a lot of questions to answer, but this coming season appears to be better than the last.
