The Cable Car conductor was the only person injured in Monday morning's crash.

SAN FRANCISCO—A traffic collision on Monday, April 6  in Chinatown left a San Francisco cable car conductor injured.

The Cable Car conductor was the only person injured in Monday morning’s crash.

A motorist collided with the conductor’s cable car near the crossing of Washington and Powell streets at approximately 10:30 a.m.. Immediately after the cash, the wounded conductor was rushed by ambulance to the hospital.

Though reports confirm he sustained a leg injury, the exact nature and severity of the injury is unknown. A witness at the scene of the wreck stated that the conductor may have crawled from beneath a vehicle.

The conductor was the only person injured. Authorities remained on scene to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
