HOLLYWOOD—Bruce Jenner, 65, now known as Caitlyn Jenner showcased herself to the world in a photoshoot for Vanity Fair that is chronicling her new journey as a woman. All snaps of the photoshoot were photographed by famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz.
The olympic gold medalist revealed the decision to transform into a woman in April during a 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer.
Caitlyn and Kris Jenner (her previous wife) share children Kylie Jenner, 17, and Kendall Jenner, 19, together.
She is also parent to her stepchildren Kim Kardashian, 34, Khloé Kardashian, 30, Kourtney Kardashian, 36, and Rob Kardashian, 28, whom she also shares with Kris Jenner. Kris Jenner was previously married to Robert Kardashian who died of esophageal cancer at the age 59 on September 30, 2003.
Caitlyn and Kris Jenner finalized their divorce in 2013.
She shares children Brody Jenner, 31, and Brandon Jenner, 33, with her ex-wife Linda Thompson. Caitlyn is also parent to Casey Jenner, 35, and Burt Jenner, 37, with her first wife Chrystie Jenner.
Caitlyn’s entire family has been very supportive of the decision to transform into a woman.
Kim Kardashian shared a photo of Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair photoshoot via Instagram and captioned the shot: “Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!”
Khloe Kardashian shared the same photo via Instagram alongside a caption that read, “We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!”
Kourtney Kardashian joined in on the family support by sharing Caitlyn’s photo and writing, “Freedom! Stunning. #Caitlyn” via Instagram.
Kylie Jenner posted Caitlyn’s photo as well and captioned it, “My angel on earth! #caitlyn.”
Model Kendall Jenner regrammed a short clip via Instagram that was also featured on the Vanity Fair Instagram page.
Many celebrities have also taken to social media their support of Caitlyn’s transition.
An E! reality documentary show is expected to air chronicling Caitlyn Jenner and her journey.
Caitlyn also made a Twitter and Facebook account to share her journey alongside her fans. She tweeted, “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
She later tweeted, “Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who’da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.”
