On September 8, 1966 the first episode of “Star Trek: The Original Series” aired, leaving people with countless tales of space time exploration that encompassed themes of inclusion, acceptance and anthropological theory. Fifty-four years later, nine series of “Star Trek” have been made and the legacy has lived on. CBS adopted “Star Trek” and created the seventh series in the franchise, “Star Trek: Discovery” in 2017. The series takes place 10 years before the original series.

There are nine different panels streaming through out the day, covering all nine series. The last panel covers, “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” The panel features Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Commander William Rike (Johnathan Frakes).

According to their website, CBS All Access will donate to “organizations who do the real-world work of championing equality, social justice and the pursuit of scientific advancements” including, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, and the Equal Justice Initiative.
