SAN FRANCISCO—More than 170,000 people were in attendance for the 2015 annual Dreamforce Gala convention hosted by Salesforce from Wednesday, September 16 through Friday, September 18. Since 2003, Dreamforce has been a showcase of technology, current events, and some of the greatest performers of the generation. Dreamforce is an annual event that unites salesforce customers, partners, industry leaders, and developers to network and exchange ideas. In addition to Dreamforce’s cutting edge, industry-leading developments, the convention is also known for its star-studded lineup of performers.

This year’s highlight included none other than the legendary Stevie Wonder, who performed his hits, “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” and “Signed Sealed Delivered.”  Wonder modified the words of “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” to create “Dreamforce is the Sunshine of My Life.”

Stevie was such a crowd hit that Salesforce’s CEO Marc Benioff said that he requested he continue to sing in lieu of the scheduled keynote presentation.

Performers such as The Killers, John Legend,, MC Hammer, Gary Clark Jr., and The Foo Fighters also joined Dreamforce’s lineup in the Dreamfest—Concert for Kids after-party on Thursday, September 17.

Dreamfest tickets ranged from the “Supporter” price of $500 to the “Commitment” price of $1000. Packages ranged from the “Care” price of $5,000 to the “Innovation” package of $1,000,000. The after-party played a key role in raising money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals this year. The event had a goal of raising $10 million to aid cancer research efforts for the hospital.
