SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that unfolded in the Bayview District on Sunday, October 29. The SFPD reported that at approximately 4:13 p.m. officers in the Bayview Station responded to the region of Bayshore Boulevard and Cortland Avenue about an individual who had been stabbed.

After officers arrived on the scene, they found two males who sustained stab wounds. Officers gave them aid and called paramedics to the scene. The individual responsible for the stabbings fled the region before officers arrived. Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital to be treated for their life-threatening injuries. One of the victims died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. The name and age of that victim has not been disclosed to the public.
