SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department’s Missing Person Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person at risk, as announced on their website on Wednesday, November 23. The SFPD reported that Minh Hy Thai, 79, was last seen on November 20, at approximately 11 a.m., on the 500 block of Parnassus Avenue.

He is described as standing 5 foot, 2 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has gray hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap with a dragon design (as shown in the picture) and using a crutch with his right arm. Thai is considered “at-risk” due to a pre-existing medical condition. He is known to frequent the area of Chinatown.

Anyone who locates Minh Hy Thai is asked to call 911 and report his current location and physical description. Anyone with details on his possible whereabouts should call the SFPD Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD.
