In the first few days that it was released, it was No. 4, throughout parts of Europe, including Russia and Poland.
The music video on YouTube has over one million hits, in just a few weeks. Her hit is produced by RedOne who has worked with high profile artists such as Lady Gaga, Austin Mahone, Jennifer Lopez and One Direction. Fans of her brother will clearly welcome his sister and help her make it to the top. When Ronaldo posted on Twitter about his sister’s new song, it really helped increase her popularity on YouTube. Aveiro is a 35-year-old beauty with two children, Rodrigo, 11 and Dinis, 3, from a former relationship with Chef Jose Pereira. All Katia needs is to do the next single with Pitbull and viola, a star is born!
Stars will be flocking to Brooklyn’s Barclay Center on August 25 for the MTV Video Music Awards, for the first time ever, where Lady Gaga will be performing. Earlier this month, Gaga thrilled her little monsters by announcing she was fully recovered form her hip surgery and ready to rock and roll at the VMAs, which I’m sure she will be performing her latest hit, “Applause.”
Among the many stars who will be attending include Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who lead the field of nominees, closely followed by some of the biggest names in the biz, including Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Thirty Second to Mars. They are all vying for the infamous VMA Moonman. There will be many surprises, of course. Will NSYNC reunite at the VMAs? Fans around the world will be tuned in to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. MTV Hits, in celebration of Lady Gaga’s performance featured an hour-long block of Gaga’s iconic videos and musical moments, last month.
One Direction which is scheduled to perform at the VMAs are quite busy these days with their behind-the-scenes film titled, “This Is Us,” Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall spent several hours signing autographs for screaming fans in London’s Leicester Square. Music blasted from outside the Empire cinema waiting for the arrival of the band, while film and record company execs attempted to control the fans and the sea of media who gathered to photograph and interview the first boy band to make, yes, a billion dollars.
They are expected to make $1 billion in theU.S.alone and their stadium tour is outselling both Madonna and Lady Gaga’s 2012 tours. Cross Zayn off your list, we hear he recently got engaged to girlfriend Perrie Edwards. Her brother spilled the beans on Twitter.
