SAN FRANCISCO—A pair of armed suspects robbed a Little Caesar’s Pizzeria, shooting an employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery occurred Monday, February 16 at 8:20 p.m. at the restaurant located on 11299 San Pablo Avenue.
The two suspects, described as Hispanic males between 20 and 30 years of age, entered the pizzeria and demanded cash from an employee. Armed with at least one handgun, one suspect shot the employee, before grabbing the restaurant’s cash and fleeing through the shopping center’s parking lot.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts that were pulled over their faces to conceal their identities.
The employee who sustained the gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries. The employee is expected to make a full recovery.
