SAN FRANCISCO—A 22-year-old man fell off a rooftop during Fleet Week and died on Saturday, October 12.

Around 6 p.m., the victim, who has been identified as Daniel Duazo fell off of the fourth story of a building on Bay Street. The rooftop did not have any railings. 

When officials arrived to the scene, an SF Fire Department personnel administered aid. However, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officer Adam Lobsinger told the San Francisco News that the SF OCME is investigating the incident as an accidental fall.

The San Francisco News contacted the San Francisco Police Department for additional information, but did not hear back before print. 

According to Duazo’s obituary, he was born and raised in Texas and studied at UC Berkeley with his focus on earning a degree in Computer Science. Duazo later went on to live in San Francisco where he worked at VISA for one year.
