SAN FRANCISCO—A police car chase that started on Monday, May 2 came to an end in the Mission District.

Officials from the San Francisco Police Department received a call about a vehicle crashing into parked cars in the Bayview. They responded to the call around 1:00 a.m.

When authorities arrived on the scene they attempted to stop the driver, but a chase ensued.

Police chased the suspect for around 15 minutes from the Bayview District all the way to the Mission District. It ended after the suspect’s car lost a tire and could go no further on Mission and Valencia Streets.

Officers arrested the female driver and there is no word yet on the name of the suspect and why she fled authorities.
