SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department are investing a fatal shooting that occurred in the Mission District on Sunday, August 21. The SFPD reported at approximately 2:26 am, officers assigned to Mission Station responded to Mission Street and 19th Street about a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and one victim suffering from other non-life-threatening injuries. Officers rendered aid and summoned medical attention. The three victims were transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. One of the victims died from injuries sustained at the hospital. Details regarding the victim have not been disclosed to the public. The fourth victim was treated and released at the scene. Investigators from the San Francisco Police Homicide Detail are leading the investigation.
