SAN FRANCISCO—A fall through the skylight of a building in San Francisco’s Mission District claimed the life of an unidentified man early Tuesday morning.

The deceased, who’s identity will remain confidential pending notification of first of kin, was reportedly drinking on the roof of a building located near the crossing of Shotwell and 14th Street at the time of his fall.

After falling through the shattered skylight, the man landed in the building’s garage, a prompting a 911 call at approximately 4:20 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Paramedics responded to the Mission District location at 4:30 a.m., where they found the man, aged between 30 and 40 unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

To date, no further information regarding the accident has been made available.
