DaJesus, whose family claims she was drawn to San Francisco because of its tolerance of transgender individuals, is remembered as strong-willed and generous, an active member of the Bayview neighborhood and a regular contributor to the community food pantry.

DaJesus’ murder is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Francisco Police Department at (415) 575-4444, or text TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.
