SAN FRANCISCO—The San Fransisco Police Department arrested Michael Boyle, 41, on November 18 in connection to 11 arson cases that transpired in the Mission and SoMa Districts.

Most of the fires were occurred between October 26 and November 18. Boyle managed to set a fire in a the lobby of a undisclosed commercial bank and a camping tent that lead to a vehicle catching fire.

Authorities indicated that a majority of Boyle’s fires were started inside trash cans along sidewalks.

The Arson Task Force arrested Boyle with probable cause and booked him at the San Francisco County Jail. Police are investigating any possible links to Boyle and other incidents of arson in the city of San Francisco.
