SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection to a stabbing homicide that occurred on Friday, December 13. At approximately 7:30 p.m., officers received a call about an incident in the Mission District of a person who stabbed on Wiese Alley, near 15th Street and 16th Street.

When police arrived they found a 56-year-old male suspect who was taken to the hospital, but later died from wounds he sustained. Police arrested William Randelston, 58, ofSan Francisco, after speaking to witnesses and canvassing the area according to a press release from the SFPD website. Officials are still contacting additional witnesses in connection to the crime. Police have not yet released a photo of the suspect as the case is still being investigated, nor has a motive behind the stabbing been released to the public.
