SAN FRANCISCO—The ice-skating rink is now open in downtown Union Square. The rink opened on Wednesday, November 6 and will remain open through January 20, 2020.

Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily, and the general admission cost with skate rental is $18.00. Children 8 years old and under are $13.00. Guests may also bring their own skates to the rink if they prefer.

Expect an additional service fee for a skate helper, ($6.00) and locker rentals ($3.00). Skaters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance, as the ticket booth located at the rink is likely to sell out.

Visitors can also book a 90-minute skate session to brush up on their skills with instructors every even hour. All levels of skaters are welcome.

The Union Square Rink will participate in the “Holiday Spirit Rewards” program that will allow guests to earn rewards every time they visit. Points are redeemable for free passes, and VIP access to this year’s 2019 Tree Lighting event.

In addition to the ice-skating rink at Union Square, the T-Mobile Winter Park at Civic Center will open on Friday, November 22 for visitors.
