SAN FRANCISCO—In the early hours on Wednesday morning of September 3, 2025, at approximately 3:25 a.m., police officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred in the Tenderloin Neighborhood that left a man dead.

When police officers from the San Francisco Police Department arrived at the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound on the ground at McAllister Street and Jones Street.

After police officers provided first aid to the man, he was transported to a local San Francisco hospital. Even though he received medical treatment, he died of his fatal injuries, declaring to be dead at the hospital. The identity of the deceased victim is not known to anyone involved in this case.

There have been no arrests made so far in this investigation, and it has been turned over to the San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
