HOLLYWOOD—Actor Nicholas Brendon, 44, was arrested for the third time this year in Myrtle Beach on May 16.
The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Brendon was arrested twice this year. He was taken into custody in February for trashing a hotel room in Florida while intoxicated and in March for a similar incident. He was also arrested in October 2014 and charged with injury to property. Later that month, Brendon announced via Facebook, “I intend to seek appropriate treatment and therapy for my medical ailments as well as my emotional demons.”
Following his latest arrest, the star tweeted a photo of himself by the beach on May 17. He wrote: “Twatters I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human.”
On May 16 Brendon’s spokesperson, Andrea Albin tweeted, “There will be no comments or statements made in regards to @NicholasBrendon at this time. Thank you.”
