SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department arrested a suspect in connection to a narcotics bust that occurred on November 1. According to a press release from the SFPD, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers from the Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on the 1200 block of Sanchez Street in the Mission District. During the search, they seized over 2 pounds of heroin, 70 pounds of methamphetamine and over $46,000 in cash.

Alejandro Alvarez was arrested by the SFPD after a search warrant was served at a property on the 1200 block of Sanchez Street.

Authorities arrested Alejandro Alvarez, 44, of San Francisco during the search. He was booked for narcotics related charges, which include Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with the intent to sell, and maintaining a place for the purpose of selling narcotics.
