SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect responsible for domestic violence, kidnapping and felony animal cruelty charges. The SFPD indicated on its website that on April 14, at approximately 11:42 a.m., officers responded to a store on the unit block of Turk Street about a fight.

After arriving on the scene, the male suspect and female victim were no longer at the establishment. A preliminary investigation indicated that an argument transpired between the two individuals after the male suspect threw canned goods at the female. The suspect grabbed the victim’s four month old Cocker Spaniel from another individual and slammed the dog onto the floor.

Responding officers found the victim and her puppy “Prince” near Turk Street and Taylor Street. The victim and her dog were taken to San Francisco Animal Care and Control (SFACC) for treatment, but Prince did not survive his injuries.

Delos Pierre Gallon, 23, of San Francisco is wanted by police and he has a prior arrest for firearms violations and should be considered dangerous. The SFPD is asking anyone who spots Gallon to contact 911 and provide the suspect’s current location and description. Anyone with information can contact investigators via the SFPD 24 hour tip line at (415) 575-4444, or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
