Authorities Need Help To Solve Murder Of Carlo Tateo

SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s help to solve a homicide that transpired in the June. On June 18 at approximately 2 a.m., officers from the SFPD arrived on the scene of 11th Street and Folsom Street regarding a shooting. They discovered Carlo Tateo, 31, of Oakland, on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, but later died from injuries sustained.

The murder of Carlo Tateo who was shot in June 2017 remains unsolved.

According to a press release from the SFPD, on September 20, the Police Department held a media availability at Police Headquarters to provide updates to the public on the investigation. Homicide investigators released surveillance video of three persons of interest in the case. Members of the victim’s family were present and made an appeal for witnesses to come forward and provide information for authorities.
