SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, August 11, the San Francisco Police Department reported that they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Bayview District.

The incident was reported at approximately 10:35 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Harbor Road regarding a shooting.

While en route, officers were advised that a vehicle involved in the incident was stopped on the 2200 block of Cesar Chavez Street. The two individuals inside the vehicle were both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers provided aid, and paramedics arrived transporting both victims suffering from life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.

One of the victims died from injuries sustained. The name and age of the victim has not been disclosed to the public. The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and is leading the investigation.
