SAN FRANCISCO—On December 7, officers from the San Francisco Police Department Burglary Unit and Mission Station arrested a suspect who they were tracking for close to a year. The burglar was identified as 36 year-old San Francisco resident, Gregory Cienfuegos.

The burglaries began in early 2018 when investigators from the Southern Police Station found that the suspect was breaking into apartment buildings and stealing high end bicycles.  A warrant was issued for his arrest in November 2018.

Cienfuegos was charged with 32 counts of burglary, 14 counts of grand theft, and one count of felony vandalism.  The prospective losses from the burglaries totaled about $75,000.
