SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect connected to a Bayview District Shooting that transpired on June 4. According to the SFPD, at 11:11 a.m. officers responded to the 1800 block of Oakdale Avenue regarding a shooting.
After arriving on the scene, officers found the victim, Jevon Cael, 26, of San Francisco laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene, rendered aid and transported Cael to the hospital, where died from his injuries.
SFPD Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to locate the suspect. On September 9, officers found and arrested Cleavon Foster, 37, of San Francisco on an outstanding Homicide Warrant.
After interviewing with Homicide Investigators, Foster was charged with murder and booked at the San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, Foster’s booking photo is not being released at the moment.
