HOLLYWOOD—Country singer Carrie Underwood announced via Twitter she is pregnant with her first child with her husband, NHL player, Mike Fisher on Monday, September 1.
In July, Underwood tweeted about how happy she has been with her marriage and how excited she is for the future. “Four years ago today, I married my best friend. Happy anniversary @mikefisher1212. The best is yet to come and I can’t wait!”
The news was first announced through a Twitter photo Underwood posted of her two dogs dressed in “I’m going to be a BIG BROTHER” and “I’m going to be a BIG SISTER” shirts. She added, “In honor of “Labor” Day…Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier!”
Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher tweeted, “We haven’t picked names yet but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher.”
