BALTIMORE, MD—The Los Angeles Dodgers won their seventh consecutive division championship for the National League West during their series opener against the Baltimore Orioles.

Walker Buehler, 25, was the starting pitcher during the game on Tuesday, September 10 where he went seven strong innings and did not allow any runs by the Orioles. Buehler exited the game with a score of 7-0, which included rookie Gavin Lux’s, 21, first Major League home run.

Lux added to his big night by hitting a single and a double in addition to his home run, and was only a triple shy from hitting for the cycle. Corey Seager, 25, also shined with his own set of home runs which helped the Dodgers defeat the Orioles with a final score of 7-3.

The Dodgers aim to make it to the World Series for the third consecutive year and have now secured a spot in the post season.
